Welcome to our family site. Here’s a little more than you want to know about us…
We live in Surprise, AZ (west of Phoenix), David works at Christ’s Church of the Valley, and Jan stays home to take care of the home and family.
We have a 16 year old son, Ben, who hasn’t quite got his license yet. He works as a Lifeguard for the city of Surprise and is big into dirt bikes and drumline, so we spend a lot time driving him around and hanging out with him at the dirt track.
Our 10 year old daughter, Hannah, loves to ride horses and is a big fan of action movies. She also has Refractory Epilepsy so we’re managing her 10+ seizures a day and considering the alternatives for her treatment.
Sam, our 7 year old is an active little boy, and loves exploring outside, and playing with any type of water he can find. He is an absolute fish in the pool, and has been since he was an infate. He is also autistic, but high functioning.
Hannah you are a brave little girl, when I was little about 5 I was in the hospital and I remember they gave my icecream and thats all I remember. It will be a time to rest and get better. David and Jan you guys may want to take a vacation in a few weeks to relax and forget about everything for you guys could really use one. I will be praying and Hannah should be playing with Sammy real soon and she wont even remember the hospital. It won,t be long before you are eating pizza and spaghetti.
